Clay County Hospital Foundation Nears Fundraising Goal for $3.8 Million Project

Updated: Jun 10

The Clay County Hospital Foundation (CCHF) is pleased to announce it is just over $53,000 away from reaching its fundraising goal in support of the planned $3.8 million expansion at Clay County Medical Center (CCMC).
The project includes construction of a 6,765-square-foot addition featuring a new mental health clinic and expanded space for Clay Center Family Physicians. The expansion is designed to enhance access to healthcare services while helping meet the growing demand for mental health care throughout the region.
The Foundation has already achieved a major milestone by securing sponsorships for all available naming opportunities within the new mental health clinic and clinic addition. Current fundraising efforts are focused on raising $300,000 to cover furnishings, fixtures, and equipment needed to fully outfit the expanded facilities.
“Supporters of local healthcare always show their generosity toward CCHF campaigns,” said Dan Thalmann, Campaign Director. “We’re incredibly appreciative of everyone who has supported this effort financially. We are always humbled by the community’s willingness to rally behind important healthcare initiatives. We want to continue building that support, especially because of this project’s focus on expanding mental health services.”
The expansion represents an important investment in local healthcare infrastructure and will help ensure patients can access high-quality care close to home.
“We urge our community to continue supporting this vital initiative,” said Bryce Dolan, Director of the Clay County Hospital Foundation. “Every donation, regardless of size, brings us closer to fully equipping these new facilities and ensuring they meet the highest standards of care.”
Community members interested in supporting the project may make donations online or by mail to the Clay County Hospital Foundation.
