Chase Turner, DPT, Joins Clay County Medical Center

Clay County Medical Center is pleased to welcome Chase Turner, DPT, to its Rehabilitation Services team.

A native of Salina, Kansas, Turner earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Wichita State University in 2021. He brings experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing care to patients of all ages and helping them recover from injuries, manage chronic pain, and improve mobility.

Turner holds certifications in Dry Needling Levels I and II, cupping, and myofascial scraping, allowing him to offer a variety of treatment options tailored to each patient’s needs.

“It’s all about short-term discomfort for long-term gain,” Turner said. “When people are ready to commit to healing, I want to bring every tool to the table to support that.”

Before attending Wichita State University, Turner completed his undergraduate studies at Kansas State University, where he also earned a secondary major in gerontology. His background gives him the ability to work with a wide range of patients, from young athletes to older adults seeking to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Chase and his wife, Shelbie, a nurse at Riley Family Physicians, are currently making the transition from Manhattan to the Clay Center area. Together they have a young son, Colt, and two German Shepherds, Stryker and Stella.

“We’re thrilled to settle into this community,” Turner said. “It’s a great place with great people. Shelbie and I have both felt incredibly welcomed and supported.”

Known for building strong relationships with his patients, Turner values the personal connections that develop throughout the rehabilitation process. His patient-centered approach, combined with evidence-based treatment techniques, helps create meaningful outcomes for those he serves.

“I truly love what I do,” Turner said. “And I’m excited to do it here.”
