School Supplies Drive

Clay County Medical Center (CCMC) and its rural health clinics are proud to host a School Supplies Drive to support local students as they prepare for the upcoming school year.

From July 15 through August 2, community members are invited to donate school supplies at collection boxes located in the main lobby of Clay County Medical Center and at each Family Physicians clinic throughout the region.

For the 2024 drive, donations collected at CCMC and Clay Center Family Physicians will benefit students in USD 379 through the Clay Center Elks. The organization has identified trapper keepers and wired headphones for kindergarten through third-grade students as priority needs.

Donations collected at Linn, Riley, Clyde, and Glasco Family Physicians will support students in USD 378, USD 334, USD 224, and USD 223.

“We are excited to rally our community in support of local students as they prepare for the upcoming school year,” said Bryce Dolan, Development and Foundation Director. “Every contribution, whether it is a donation of supplies or financial support, helps ensure that children have the tools they need to succeed.”

Community members can drop off school supply donations at any participating location throughout the drive. Monetary donations are also welcome and may be coordinated through Clay County Medical Center.

“We encourage everyone to join us in this effort to equip students with the resources they need for a successful school year,” added Dolan.

The School Supplies Drive is one of many ways Clay County Medical Center and its clinics support the health, well-being, and success of the communities they serve.
