Clay County Medical Center family medicine providers Allie Lohrmeyer, M.D., Christopher Worthen, M.D., Cary Murphy, M.D., and Danielle Wurtz, D.O., accepting new patients at Family Physicians clinics.

A recent analysis from the Kaiser Family Foundation found that nearly one in five Kansans do not have a personal physician, highlighting an ongoing challenge in primary care access across the state and nation.

Having an established relationship with a primary care provider is one of the most important steps individuals can take to protect their long-term health. Regular visits help identify potential health concerns early, manage chronic conditions, maintain preventive screenings, and ensure patients receive personalized care tailored to their needs.

At Clay County Medical Center (CCMC) and its family medicine clinics, providers are currently welcoming new patients and encouraging community members to establish care. Whether patients need an annual wellness exam, ongoing management of chronic conditions, or simply want a trusted healthcare provider for future needs, CCMC’s team is available to help.

“Our goal is to make high-quality healthcare accessible close to home,” said Austin Gillard, CEO of Clay County Medical Center. “Whether you’re due for an annual exam, managing a chronic condition, or simply looking to establish care, our team is here to help you build a trusted relationship with a medical provider.”

Clay County Medical Center offers a comprehensive range of healthcare services, including family medicine, women’s health, behavioral health, orthopaedics, urology, and other specialty services designed to meet the needs of patients throughout the region.

Providers currently welcoming new patients include Dr. Allie Lohrmeyer, Dr. Cary Murphy, Dr. Christopher Worthen, and Dr. Danielle Wurtz.
