The Kansas HomeCare & Hospice Association (KHCHA) has welcomed Amy Burr, BSN, RN, CHPN, as its new President.

Amy has been an active member of the KHCHA Board of Directors since 2018, serving as the District 5 Co-Representative and helping advance the association’s mission of strengthening home care and hospice services throughout Kansas. During the past year, she served as President-Elect, working closely with board leadership to support advocacy, education, collaboration, and excellence in care across the continuum of home-based services.

Amy brings more than a decade of hospice leadership experience to her new role. She has served as Director of Meadowlark Hospice since June 2013, leading a dedicated team committed to providing compassionate, high-quality end-of-life care to patients and families across north-central Kansas. Under her leadership, Meadowlark Hospice has expanded its commitment to clinical excellence, community education, and personalized support for those facing serious illness.

As a Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN), Amy is passionate about advancing quality care, supporting interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring individuals and families have access to compassionate care and resources when they need them most.

“I am honored to serve as President of KHCHA,” Amy said. “Home care and hospice providers play a vital role in helping people receive quality care in the place they call home. I look forward to working alongside our members and partners across Kansas to advocate for our patients, strengthen our services, and support the professionals who provide this important care every day.”

The Kansas HomeCare & Hospice Association represents home care and hospice providers across the state and works to promote quality care, professional development, advocacy, and education. As President, Amy will help guide the association’s strategic priorities while continuing to champion access to exceptional home care and hospice services for all Kansans.

Please join us in congratulating Amy Burr on this well-deserved achievement and leadership role within the Kansas HomeCare & Hospice Association.
