Time Off Paid (TOP)
Our Time Off Paid (TOP) program allows employees to accrue paid time off for vacation, personal time, illness, and holidays.​
How TOP Works:

TOP is accrued for every hour worked.

Accrual rates are based on employment status and years of service.
-
There is no waiting period; TOP can be used as it is earned.
Accrual Schedule for Full-Time Team Members:

1–5 Years of Service: 176 hours per year
-
6–14 Years of Service: 215 hours per year
-
15+ Years of Service: 239 hours per year
Extended Medical Leave (EML)
The Extended Medical Leave (EML) program provides hospital-sponsored short-term disability coverage during qualifying illnesses, hospitalizations, and eligible FMLA events.
EML Benefits

Accrual is based on employment status and hours worked.

Full-time employees earn 72 hours per year.
-
A three-day (24 scheduled work hour) elimination period applies before benefits begin.
Shift Differential
Employees working qualifying evening and night shifts receive additional compensation.

Evening Shift (3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.): 7% shift differential
-
Night Shift (11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.): 19% shift differential
-
12-Hour Day Shift (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.): 2.3% differential
-
12-Hour Night Shift (7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.): 15% differential
Holiday Pay
Employees who work designated hospital holidays receive time-and-a-half pay.

Tuition Reimbursement
CCMC supports continuing education and professional development through tuition assistance.

Full-time employees may receive up to $5,000 annually.

Clay County Medical Center offers scholarship opportunities of up to $5,000 annually for individuals pursuing healthcare-related education and career paths.

All full-time, part-time, and regular relief employees, along with their immediate family members, receive a complimentary membership to the Mark A. Chapman Wellness Center.
Scrubs Provided
Employees working in patient care areas receive hospital-provided scrubs that are professionally laundered on-site.
