
The mission of Mark A. Chapman Wellness & Fitness Center is to promote the health
and wellness of our community through education and preventative measures to ensure healthier life-styles.
Active members of the Mark A. Chapman Wellness Center may enjoy many health benefits including: better control of weight, decreased
anxiety, decreased body fat, decreased depression, decreased risk of many diseases,
increased energy, increased self-esteem, lower blood pressure, and lower cholesterol.

Come in and join the fitness army program. HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ASK THE FITNESS STAFF.
SOLDIERS will be expected to:
- DEVELOP goals
- KEEP motivated throughout Fitness Program
- FOLLOW through with short and long term goals
- CONTROL the pace and intensity of workouts
. GENERAL RULES:
- MUST KEEP A LOG OF YOUR EXERCISES INCLUDING CALORIES/MILES AND WEIGHT TRAINING EXERCISES.
- REPORT PROGRESS TO THE WELLNESS CENTER STAFF TO MOVE UP IN RANKING.
- WORKOUTS MAY BE PERFORMED AT HOME OR WELLNESS CENTER.
- NO SPECIFIC STARTING DATE OR ENDING DATE.
- SET YOUR OWN PACE.
- CONSULT STAFF IF YOU NEED HELP WITH STARTING AN EXERCISE PROGRAM.

JOIN A RUNNING GROUP
Walkers, novice runners (never have run before), intermediate runners.
(5K, 10K, first time marathoners, half marathons), and advanced runners (several marathons, triathlons) are encouraged to attend!
