The Clifton Art Buffs are displaying some of their artwork in the dining room of the Clay County Medical Center through November 13, 2015.  The Art Buffs are one of the oldest continuous art clubs in the state of Kansas, having been in existence since September of 1961.

Shirley Leiszler is the only remaining charter member, and she currently serves as Sec./Treas., a position she has held for many years.  She has several pieces of artwork on display at this time. Other members displaying this month include: Dixie Barnes, President, Lee Ann Brady, and Elizabeth Kelley. Rebecca Oglesby, Vice President, is not displaying this month. We also have had several other community members show an interest in joining.

The Art Buffs are currently actively seeking new members. If you have an interest in art, please feel free to visit one of our monthly meetings.  We meet the third Tuesday of each month at the Clifton City Hall at 1:00 p.m.  Our dues are a modest $7.50, which are usually collected in January, or upon expressing an interest in becoming a member.  We do not charge the membership fee until the artist asks to join.
