Clay County Medical Center hosted a presentation by Diane M. Daldrup, March of Dimes, State Director of Program & Government Affairs. Avenues of collaboration designed to improve birth outcomes and address disparities through implementation of “Healthy Babies are Worth the Wait (HBWW) and Becoming a Mom” program were discussed.

Over 30 attendees from Clay Center Family Physicians; Special Delivery, LLC; Clay County Health Department; City Council; Head Start/Early Childhood; Parents as Teachers; Public School; Pawnee Mental Health; K-State Extension; Clay County Improvement Foundation and the hospital participated in the event.
