In an effort to serve our patients more efficiently, access to the emergency department will be through the outpatient clinic entrance on the west side of the hospital.  This entrance will be used 24/7.

Implementation of this change will provide a much smoother admission process and allow our staff to more efficiently manage the flow of patients needing to see a physician.  On occasion, it may be necessary to limit the number of people who can accompany a patient to the treatment area.  This change will provide a more comfortable area for family members who are waiting and enhance security for our patients and staff.

The ER bay will only be accessible to authorized vehicles.  If arriving by private vehicle, please call 785-632-2144 so nursing staff may anticipate your arrival and offer any assistance you might require.
