Amy Kern's work pulls from her life experiences: growing up on a farm in the mid-west, the duality of love, nostalgic advertising and mass media as well as the POP art masters: Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns and Roy Lichtenstein.

Drawing on her background in graphic design and advertising, Amy creates images that form an immediate connection with the viewer. Her work is a fun and colorful visual experience with a twist of irony. The result is a varied and personal painting style with pop!!

Amy has nearly 20 years of marketing and web design experience. B.F.A in graphic design from Fort Hays State University , M.F.A in graphic design from the Savannah College of Art & Design, Professor of Graphic Design for 10+ years. Amy teaches Art and Graphic Design at Cloud County Community College. Amy currently resides in Concordia, Kansas and can be contacted for the purchase of her artwork or commissions.
