DIETARY

Cook/Dietary Aide – PRN Position for someone who can provide additional help occasionally during the week and on weekends in the hospital cafeteria. Previous hospital dietary experience preferred but will train the right person. Must be able to work independently and with others, have great people skills, able to learn special diets and food safety practices.

ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES

Housekeeping/Laundry worker – Regular Relief position on the day shift working two days per week. Must be capable of working independently and with others, good people skills, pay attention to detail, follow instructions, and meet physical requirements. Will work a rotation of weekends (about one per month) and rotation of holidays.

HEALTH INFORMATION RESOURCES

Director of HIR or Medical Records – RHIA or RHIT prefer previous hospital and electronic medical records experience, computer and leadership skills. May consider a person with medical background with strong organizational and office skills. This is a working manager that will be responsible for the supervisions of six additional staff. Knowledge of general HIR practices is required including: coding, transcription, electronic medical records.

LABORATORY

Bench Tech – Full-time position for MT (may consider a MLT) preferably with previous hospital laboratory experience. Must be willing to take a rotation of on-call, weekend and holiday coverage.

Phlebotomist – Temporary part-time or temporary full-time phlebotomist to assist in hospital lab draws and assisting laboratory staff.  Prefer prior hospital experience.

MEADOWLARK HOSPICE

Hospice Program Director – Meadowlark Hospice is in need of a RN (would consider a MSW) to lead a team of caregivers dedicated to serve critically ill patients and family members in their time of need.  Must be self-motivated, detail oriented with good leadership communication and people skills.  Prior management and Hospice experience preferred.

Registered Nurse – Meadowlark Hospice is in need of a part-time RN in the Marshall county area dedicated to serve critically ill patients and family members in their time of need. Must have great communication and people skills.

Registered Nurse – Meadowlark Hospice is in need of a PRN RN in the Republic and Cloud county area who is dedicated to serve critically ill patients and family members in their time of need. Must have great communication and people skills.

NURSING SERVICES

Registered Nurse - OB Coordinator – This position involves full-time hours as a staff nurse with about one-third of those hours dedicated to the OB Coordinator position.  Must be a RN with current and ongoing AWHONN FHM credentials, NRP, ACLS and STABLE.  Responsibilities include staff training, policy and procedure review and input in scheduling the OB area.  Orientation to all areas in the nursing department will be expected. 

Certified Nurse Aide – Full-time position for aides on the 7P-7A shift. Previous hospital experience preferred but will train the right person.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant – PRN or COTA position as an assistant to the Occupational Therapist.  Need an associate’s degree in occupational therapy.  Would work during high census and to cover for staff shortages due to vacation, sick leave, etc.  Previous experience preferred.

PHYSICAL THERAPY

Physical Therapist Assistant or PTA – PRN Position as a relief Therapist or Therapist Assistant to work during high census and to cover for staff shortages due to vacation, sick leave, etc. Previous experience preferred.
