ADMINISTRATION

Chief Executive Officer –  This is a full-time salaried position for a professional administrator that will manage Clay County Medical Center in accordance with federal, state and local regulations. A successful candidate will have extreme leadership and people skills, sound decision-making skills, organizational experience in operations and planning, experience in fiscal management and budgets. Masters in Health Administration is preferred with three years of experience in health administration at a Critical Access Hospital.

BUSINESS OFFICE/NURSING SERVICES

Admissions Clerk/Ward Clerk –  PRN position working various shifts possibly including some nights and weekends. Reports to the Admissions Department but may work in both the business office and/or in the nursing area doing clerical work. Basic office skills, good computer skills, good communication and people skills, detail oriented with extreme accuracy are just a few traits required. Need to be organized and able to multitask. Previous hospital experience is preferred.

DIETARY SERVICES

Cook/Dietary Aide –  Full-time position working from 30-40 hours per week. This is a combination position between a cook and a dietary aide. The cook duties include knowing or the ability to learn special diets, paying close attention to detail. The dietary aide is responsible for various duties associated with a dietary department including dishes, customer service, assisting the cooks, running a computerized cash register, counting change, cleaning, etc. Must be capable of working independently and with others, good people skills, pay attention to detail, follow instructions, and meet physical requirements.

ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES

Housekeeper/Laundry Worker –  Full-time position for the evening shift. Must be capable of working independently and with others, good people skills, attention to detail, follow instructions, and meet physical requirements.

LABORATORY SERVICES

Bench Tech – PRN position for a MT (may consider MLT) preferably with previous hospital laboratory experience. Would work during high census and to cover for staff shortages due to vacation, sick leave, etc.

NURSING SERVICES

Certified Nurse Aide –  Full-time position on the 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. shift (nights).

Certified Nurse Aide –  Full-time position on the 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. shift (days).

Registered Nurse or LPN with IV Certification – Full-time and/or combination of part-time positions on the 7P-7A shift (nights). Full-time person preferred.

ER Coordinator –  RN with hospital and ER experience. This person will be responsible for coordinating and chairing the ER Committee, investigating and problem solving variances, conducting quality improvement programs for ER, updating and maintaining policies, assist with training to the department. This is NOT a full or part-time position. Hours may vary but is thought of as additional responsibilities for a current CCMC nurse that wants to expand their leadership role.

PRN positions for RNs and CNAs available.

RESPIRATORY THERAPY

Respiratory Therapist –  Full-time position for a CRT or RRT, previous hospital experience preferred but not mandatory. Will take a rotation of on-call, some weekend and holiday coverage. Will need to be able to work independently and with others, have good people skills, basic office and computer skills along with above average skills as a respiratory therapist.
