Hospice Quilt Dedication

Dedicated To the Loving Memory of
Opal Chowning Horner

Upon receiving the pattern to stitch this "Crown of Glory" for the Hospice Quilt Project, I was struck anew by the loving memory of my paternal grandmother, who passed away from this world in 1984 to an eternal life with Christ Jesus, and the promise of His saints wearing crowns of glory.

Had it not been for my grandmother's loving prayers and example in my life, I fear that my life would have been lost. Her prayers were unceasing and caring for her loved ones, and I am living proof that God hears these prayers. I am now fully assured that someday I too will wear a crown of glory.

It has been a true joy for me to stitch this square for such a worthwhile project, to benefit those in need. My grandmother will be pleased I am sure with the beauty and fruition of these finished quilts.

Much Hugs, Grandma.... I love you and I will see you some day soon.
