Hospice Quilt Dedication

In Memory of RAY HAYDEN and ROBERT WADE

My square is stitched in memory of two very proud men. These two men spent their lives working hard for their country and for their families. When they learned the news that there was no further treatment for their cancer, they both turned to Hospice so they could end their lives the way they lived them...on their own terms.

Thanks to the St. Vincent's and St. Francis' Hospice, both men were able to be in their own homes with their families around them. Family members were able to provide care and company for them as they ended their lives.

Hospice made a huge difference in the lives of two families here in Indianapolis, Indiana. Both men died in 1996 from Cancer but that disease could not end the love and respect their families had for them and it cannot end the Hope for a cure.
