Meadowlark Hospice Home
Hospice Quilt Dedication

I would like to dedicate my square to my father, James Bernell Sorensen. He passed away on April 3, 1999, after a valiant fight with diabetes. He was my hero. I was excited that I was able to stitch the heart block because my father had a heart of gold. He was rough on the outside and a marshmallow on the inside! He fought this terrible disease till the last, losing his leg, his eyesight and finally his kidneys.

With the help of the Hospice organization in our area, he was able to die at home with dignity surrounded by his loving family. I miss you dad more than I can bear, I love you!
