Hospice Quilt Dedication

Dedicated to Margaret Dill Taylor

This dedication is for my sister, Margaret Dill Taylor. Margaret was diagnosed with lung cancer in 1978. She was only 43. She was everyone's favorite sister, favorite aunt, dear sweet mother, wonderful friend and precious daughter.

Margaret, known affectionately as Mugs while growing up, had a wonderful sense of humor. She lived with my son and I for awhile and I especially cherish the memory of those times.

Hospice was just getting started in Kalamazoo, MI in the early 80's and Margaret was one of their first benefactors. Our entire family thought it was the most wonderful idea and gave them all of our support.

Margaret lost her battle in 1981. She fought hard for 3 years. Not only was she fighting her cancer but the ravaging effects of the chemo, heart attacks, and strokes. But she always had a smile. She was an incredible individual and my dear sister.
