Meadowlark Hospice Home
Hospice Quilt Dedication

I have a dual dedication for this piece. First I would like to dedicate it to the memory of Ken Howard, a wonderful man who I wish I had gotten the chance to know better. He passed away in 1997 after we had worked together very closely for about 4 months. His liver cancer had just been diagnosed, and he did not live long enough to enter the hospice program though they were ready and generously willing to accept him.

I would also like to dedicate this piece to a very dear friend of mine who is still with us. She has had to survive a rough time with cancer and is still dealing with it today. I cannot imagine life without her and pray that she will be healthy for many years to come.
