This is our "Photo
Gallery" of the progress in quilting the Washington quilt. We hope you enjoy
watching the development of the quilts and reading the dedications and comments
of the quilters.
"Many years ago, in fact I was not quite three years old. I miraculously
escaped death, from a tragic fire, which burned all of my clothes off of me. I
have always felt, since my life was spared, I was left here for a purpose, and
to me that was in serving or helping people who needed help in some way. My introduction
to Hospice began when my mother was with us, and even though we used Hospice very
briefly, it was here for us exactly when we needed them the most. I was so impressed
that I soon became a volunteer, and hope that I can continue in that capacity
for a long time. As in to many instances, I feel that I always benefit more myself,
than what I am giving". - Irene Duitsman | |

"My heart goes out to anyone who is terminally
ill as I had a cancer patient in the family. I find being involved with hospice
as a volunteer has been very rewarding". - Lorna Heitman, Palmer KS |
