Linda Black

This quilt project came about as a result of meeting Linda & Bob Black of Clay Center, Kansas. Linda passed away November, 2000 and Hospice was very important in allowing her and Bob to spend quality time with each other and with their families. Linda & Bob both showed extraordinary strength during this difficult time and Linda was always gracious to her visitors. Linda loved crafts of all kinds and was a talented quilter and cross-stitcher. Even towards the end when she barely had the strength to sit up, she had a project in bed with her that she hoped to stitch. This quilt square is dedicated to Linda & Bob and their love for each other. Linda's memory and her love of cross stitch and quilting will be further kept alive in these quilts.

I ASKED JESUS "HOW MUCH DO YOU LOVE ME?"
HE ANSWERED, "THIS MUCH",
AND HE STRETCHED OUT HIS ARMS AND HE DIED
