Meadowlark Hospice Home
Hospice Quilt Dedication

This basket of flowers is dedicated to Louise Windbigler Kelly, grandmother of Jeanie Brooke, a supporter of this quilt project.

Louise Kelly was born in 1912 and recently passed away from cancer one day after her birthday at the age of 89. She lived her early child hood years in Kansas and it is fitting that this quilt will benefit Kansas Hospice. Most of her life was lived in Indiana and she was the mother of 11, grandmother of 12, and great-grandmother of 16. She was a very caring person and always thinking of others. She was cared for by Hospice and they allowed her to die with dignity and without pain. The Hospice Chaplain performed her service and she now lives in Heaven. She is greatly missed by her family. She loved flowers and it is very symbolic that this basket of flowers is dedicated to her by her granddaughter Jeanie.
