Dedicated in memory of
Sandra (Sandy)
J. Ross
Sandy
was a beautiful lady whose time on this earth was cut short. She was the mother
to three girls and one son and a loving wife and best friend to her husband.
I
met Sandy on the internet because of our love for stitching among other things.
When I got involved in setting up my website, Sandy was one of the ones who helped
me get started. We became friends and ended up being Secret Pals through a different
site and then we really became friends.
Sandy
was diagnosed with AML in December of 1998 and lost her battle with the disease
on April 16, 1999. She fought hard and when I was on my way to see some family
and friends, I got the chance to meet her against her doctors wishes as she had
just undergone treatment and her system was weak to any viruses. She met with
me anyway and I will always treasure that she took the chance of catching something
so that we could meet face to face and spend some time together. I will always
treasure that time we spent together and am still in contact with some of her
family.
We will
meet again "Nana" and I will be looking for you when I arrive.
