Meadowlark Hospice is a comprehensive, team-oriented program that cares for people who are living with a life limiting illness and can no longer benefit from curative treatment. Meadowlark Hospice emphasizes comfort care for the person and their family.
Our staff is specially trained in pain and symptom control- bringing compassionate physical, emotional, and social care to a person’s life as sensitively, humanely and honestly as possible. We have a skilled team of local professionals including Physicians, Registered Nurses, Social Workers, Chaplain, Home Health Aides and Volunteers who provide the loving care that is needed to bring this service to people in their home or home like setting.
Hospice is not just for people who have cancer, any severe chronic illness may qualify for Hospice services. Meadowlark Hospice is committed to providing the highest quality care, and we have been serving the surrounding communities since 1985.
Meadowlark Hospice serves Clay, Cloud, Marshall, Republic, Washington, and Western Riley counties. Medicare, Medicaid and some private insurances have a Hospice Benefit that will help pay for Hospice care needs, related to the terminal diagnosis and related conditions. Our Hospice uses donations to cover costs not covered by those payers and to provide services to those who are unable to pay. Meadowlark Hospice focuses on living.
