Planning For A Healthier Future

People can make a charitable contribution to the Hospital Foundation in many ways. For example:

Gifts of Cash:
Cash gifts can be designated by the donor to be applied towards the endowment, long term, or restricted use fund.

Gifts in Kind:
Gifts in kind are contributions of products or services. The donor receives recognition equal to the dollar value of the in-kind gift.

Memorials and Tributes:
Memorials and tributes are ways to honor the memory of a special person, or pay tribute and say thank you.

Gifts of Real Estate, Other Assets:
Real estate, appreciated securities, works of art, jewelry or other assets can be sold or invested for the long-term benefit.

Planned Gifts:
Special tax incentives are available for people who make carefully considered deferred gifts through estate plans. This can be done simply through a bequest, or by establishing various kinds of trusts, such as a charitable remainder trust, made available to encourage philanthropy. Life insurance plans can also benefit the Foundation efforts. Your gift may be a specific bequest of a designated sum or asset, or it may be a percentage of your residuary estate.

If you have other ideas for giving to the Clay County Hospital Foundation, please contact us at (785) 632-2144.
