Granny Gets An MRI Part II Campaign
November 5, 2008
Granny is back! A new video, featuring Granny, is being released to promote the arrival of a new Siemens in-house MRI for Clay County Medical Center. The silent movie sequel will be released in weekly webisodes on the Clay County Hospital Foundation website.

The community responded well to Granny’s first efforts in obtaining a permanent MRI for the hospital. Granny, played by Director of Nursing, Tyce Young, will promote a year-end gift giving campaign for the Clay County Hospital Foundation. The proceeds will be used to offset the $300,000 needed to remodel the room prior to installation.
Ron Bender, CEO said, “We have creative employees who are volunteering time and effort in cooperation with the Clay County Hospital Foundation’s year end fundraising. I am very proud of their dedication to the hospital and the work of the foundation.”
The in-house MRI is a powerful diagnostic tool. Having this technology available every day will be a great benefit for the community.
Anyone interested in making a donation is invited to contact Marcia Newell, Executive Director of Clay County Hospital Foundation, at (785) 632-2144, email: foundation@ccmcks.org or download Pledge/Gift Form.
