Introductions
Marcia Newell:
"I have an awesome board and I know they will be successful in helping us sustain and expand the medical community in Clay County. I appreciate how supportive they have been during my first year.  Their names are listed in your program and I hope you will take the opportunity to thank them for their work on your behalf.

I appreciate being given the opportunity to serve as director of the foundation. We have added several new members from the doctor’s clinics and in the last two weeks during a foundation fund drive at the hospital, we added 40 new members – that’s more than double the number previously.

In addition to new members, we raised $ 1,974.61 in one time donations and current members increased their pledges by 1716.00 over the next year.  To top it all off, employees have volunteered over 200 hours of their time to help with fundraising and awareness activities in the next year.

I am humbled and so appreciative of their efforts.  I’d like to ask the employee members that are here tonight to stand so that they can be recognized – not only for their dedication to the job, but their willingness to share further by supporting the foundation."
