• Jim Brinkman, CFO, presented the financial reports.  After discussion the Board approved the reports.

• Ron Bender, CEO, reported to the Board on Imaging department issues.  CCMC is evaluating the MRI services.  The use of MRI exams is increasing which makes it desirable to have more MRI services available.  A study of how to get more service is underway.   The CT scanner has had some down time due to electrical power problems with the power conditioner unit that supplies its power.  The power conditioner may have to be replaced.

• The Board discussed upcoming changes to the practice of Cardiac Rehab director Terrie Browning.  Terrie Browning has completed training to become an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner and will be providing enhanced services for adult chronic illness patients in the future.

• The board discussed toured the construction project and discussed additional planing issues.

• The next Board meeting is set for Tuesday, September 12th at 8:00pm in the Clay County Medical Center dinning room.
