• Jim Brinkman, CFO presented the financial and collections committee reports. After review and discussion the reports were approved.
  
  
• Ron Bender, CEO reported on the financing for the new construction project.  The revenue bonds totaling 2.5 million dollars have been issued through First St. Louis and Banker’s Bank of Kansas.  All the banks in Clay County participated in the financing and the transactions are complete.
  
  
• The construction project is planned to begin the first week of June and be completed about March of 2007.  The architectural plans are complete and bids for subcontractors will be put out soon.  Steve Bennett of the Murray Company is making preparations for the subcontract bid process and will hold a pre-bid conference for contractors on Thursday at 10am at the hospital.
  
  
• The board discussed additional planing issues including future equipment needs.
  
  
• The next Board meeting is set for Tuesday, April 25th at 8:00 p.m. in the Clay County Medical Center dinning room.
