• Jim Brinkman, CFO, presented the financial reports for November.  After review and discussion the Board approved the reports.  He then presented the credit and collections reports.  After discussion the Board approved the reports.

• David Wright, Architect, and Philip Schultze and Kelly Carter of the Murray Company, presented an update on the hospital construction project.  The project is going well.  It is expected that the first floor will be ready for occupancy the week of February 12th. Remodeling of the existing Wellness center space for the Cardiac rehab program will begin as soon after that as the wellness center is moved into their new space.  The entire project is expected to be complete in April.  After discussion the Board toured the construction area with the David Wright, Phil Schultze and Kelly Carter.

• The Board was presented with two scholarship recommendations from the Scholarship committee.  Donna Breeding, GPN and Lindsey Warnecke, GPN were each recommended for $1,000 scholarships to be used at Cloud County Community College for continuing their nursing education.  After review and discussion the board approved the scholarships as presented.

• Mike Ryan, Attorney administered the oath of office to the Board of Trustee members for the new year.  The Board held their election of officers.  The new officers are, Lori Penner President, Ron Roth Vice President, Jeff Yarrow Secretary and Sandy Fox Treasurer.  Jeff Yarrow was appointed to the Capital Acquisitions Committee, Ron Roth to the Fraud and Abuse Committee and Sandy Fox to the Wage and Salary Committee.
  
  
• The next Board meeting is set for Tuesday, January 30th at 8:00 pm in the Clay County Medical Center dining room.
