• New board member Sandy Fox and re-elected board members Ron Roth and Jeff Yarrow were sworn in by Irene Jensen, Notary Public.
  
  
• Minutes of the 12-19-00 meeting were reviewed and approved.
  
  
• Jerry Mayo, County Commissioner, Dana Rickley, Clay County Health Department Director, and Don Howard attended the meeting and reported on the progress being made for the construction of the new county Health Department Building. The purchase of land from Clay County Medical Center for a building site was discussed and agreed to in principle. Mr. Howard and the county will research the site to be sure that it meets all requirements before formal action will be taken.
  
  
• Jerry Mayo, Dana Rickley, Jeff Yarrow and Ron Bender met prior to the Board meeting to review a lease agreement for the health department to use space in Clay County Medical Center's 709 building until the new health department building is complete. They referred a revised lease agreement to the Board for consideration. The Board approved the lease as written. Jerry Mayo will take the lease to the County Commission for their approval. The lease is for a maximum period of 18 Months.
  
  
• Jeff Yarrow, Chairperson, turned the meeting over to Ron Bender to for the election of Board Officers. Nominations were taken and voted on and the following officers were elected.
