Siemens is giving away its newest MRI system to a deserving hospital that secures the most votes for a video posted to www.WinAnMRI.com. VOTING HAS ENDED FOR THE MRI VIDEO CONTEST January 2, 2008
Thank you to everyone who supported and voted for our video titled: GRANNY GETS AN MRI! The contest ended on December 31, 2007 and Clay County Medical Center was in fifth place with 71,769 votes. In fourth place, Ely-Bloomenson Community Hospital with 134,143 votes, in third place, Lockport Memorial Hospital with 144, 544 votes, second place, Grant Regional Health Center with 158,593 votes, and in 1st place, Sumter Regional Hospital with 260, 336 votes. Other Kansas Hospital that participated were Sabetha Community Hospital with 8, 094 votes, Rooks County Health Center (Plainsville) with 5, 930 votes, and Community Memorial Healthcare (Marysville) with 1, 474 votes. Please note that all votes must be validated by an outside agency and no public announcement will be made until that step is taken and the contest is verified.
Beginning January 1, 2008 the votes for each video entry will be tallied and the hospital entrant with the most votes will be so notified on or before January 12, 2008. The winning entry will be announced on the website: www.winanmri.com within 3 days that the winning entrant is notified.
Clay County Medical Center ended up in third place after the final results. Lockport Memorial Hospital won the contest.
